Terms & conditions
The contract of sale for products you buy from Pet Hygge.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Pet-Hygge, a trader established in Bulgaria. The shop is Pet Hygge at pet-hygge.com. Contact: support@pet-hygge.com.
2. Contract of sale
Browsing the catalogue is not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy the items in your cart. The contract is formed when we confirm payment (the order confirmation / paid Stripe Checkout session). We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, priced in error, or we cannot deliver to your address.
3. Prices and Stripe payment
Prices are shown in the currency of the supported destination. You pay by card through Stripe Checkout. We do not store full card numbers. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Until payment is confirmed as paid, we are not obliged to ship.
4. Availability
Stock and variants can change. If we cannot fulfil part of an order we will refund the missing items to the original payment method and ship what we can, unless you ask us to cancel the rest.
5. Delivery and returns
Delivery times and destinations are described in our shipping policy. Returns follow our returns policy (30 days for unused goods in original packaging).
6. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law. Otherwise Pet-Hygge is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost time or data) arising from use of the site or the products, beyond the price you paid for the affected order. Follow product instructions and consult a veterinarian when needed. Products are for the pets and uses described on the product page.
7. Applicable law and consumer protections
These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence (including EU consumer rights where they apply). EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform. Courts in Bulgaria have jurisdiction, except where consumer law lets you sue in your home courts.
8. Privacy
We process personal data to fulfil orders and run the shop. See the privacy policy.
